Biography

I started my career in finance where i learned about numbers, strategy, and leadership. after 10 years, i switched focus, using a psychology degree as my lever. that kick-started a new career, coaching senior leaders and their teams while also acting as adjunct faculty in 10 of the top 20 global business schools. during that time, i founded and built the leadership development consultancy iopener.

My clients include multinationals in FMCG, biotech, professional services, banking, creative, education, manufacturing, publishing, and engineering industries as well as the public and not-for-profit sectors. coaches and participants tell me they appreciate my approach which is warm, challenging, and rooted in practicality.

I have three publications under my belt, ‘happiness at work: maximizing your psychological capital for success’ (2010) and ‘meetings and workshops for dummies’ (2014), and ‘intuition at work: using your gut feelings to get ahead’ (2024).

I have a masters in corporate governance, and i’m also a visiting fellow at bayes business school in london. other business schools i’ve worked or lectured at include chicago booth, exeter, henley. IMD. imperial. johnson cornell, judge, london business school. oxford brookes, oxford (saῑd) and thunderbird.

Finally, i’m on the board of the coincidence project, and i live in france but work all over the world. in my spare time, i like to weight lift and walk my dogs in the woods.
